The raw biogas is obtained from the storage in anaerobic digesters of agricultural and livestock, urban and industrial waste, or sewage sludge.
Before the upgrading stage, this biogas must be treated to eliminate impurities such as H2S, VOCs, siloxanes, etc. Once the optimal conditions are reached, the biogas will be treated in our upgrading plant by membrane technology, where CH4 and CO2 will be separated.
The biomethane can be injected into the grid, liquefied, compressed or used as fuel for vehicles, while the carbon dioxide can be used for greenhouses, slaughterhouses or as a gasifier for carbonated beverage companies.
